IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

For many people the image of a Woman is only an unachievable ideal that has been built over time and generations. The woman stereotyped as an object, the witch, or even the muse, on a pedestal as a piece of art. Unlike some of the images, paintings and sculptures exhibited in museums, femininity is by no means frozen, it redefines itself day after day. The solo therefore explores the notion of Femininity, but above all it reflects our conditioning since childhood. The real questioning of this solo does not stop at the genders, it touches the quintessence of the Human Condition.

The performer goes through these representations, a form of catharsis to become aware of the extent of the power of these received ideas, in order to be able to identify and detach from them.
